Seiko King Seiko SJE105J1 - Japanese tradition and quality on your wrist

This watch combines a flat dial with beveled indexes and "Diamond Cut" hands to accurately reproduce the essential design features of its original 1960s prototype. The new, slimmer design follows the original, sharp and angular KSK design with wide lugs and polished joints. The case is 38.6 mm in diameter and 10.7 mm thick. The case length from lug to lug is 45.8 mm and its lug gap width is 19 mm.

This model is equipped with the high-quality caliber 6L35, which has an accuracy of +15 to -10/day and a power reserve of 45 hours. The unique blue dial features a typical embossed pattern: "Kameido-Kikko", inspired by the birthplace of the King Seiko brand: Kameido in Tokyo, which is famous for its turtles. The repeating textured shapes are intended to look like a collection of turtle shells. Kameido was once an island shaped like a turtle shell and was called "Kamejima" or "Turtle Island". Turtles are worshipped as divine beings in many East Asian countries, and in Japan they are considered symbols of longevity and good luck.

The whole is completed by a steel bracelet that has been carefully finished. The bracelet repeats the angular design of the watch and the contrast created by the alternation of polished and matte finishes. The clasp is equipped with a butterfly clasp. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, magnetic protection up to 4,800 A/m and water resistance 5ATM/50M make this watch very suitable for daily use.
