Kulta-Center is a Finnish jewelry and watch store and a family business, which was founded almost 90 years ago - in 1933. The third-generation Kulta-Center now has four stone-foot shops near the Saimaa rivers, located in Joensuu, Mikkeli and Savonlinna. In 2016, operations expanded to the online store and the address Kulta-Center.com. 

The first Gold Center was opened in Savonlinna in 1933. From the beginning, domestic handicrafts have been sold alongside foreign brands and products. In the Gold Center, quality and service come first. However, the traditional jewelry and watch business is not afraid to renew itself, and an example of this is the comprehensive online store, which has further increased the company's turnover. 

In the 2020s, Kulta-Center will not only be a watch and jewelry company operating in four stone foot shops and online, it will also be an authorized reseller, warranty service and importer.

Over the years, Kulta-Center has been selected as the strongest company in the province of Etelä-Savo in 2010. The reasons for choosing Asiakastieto Finland praised the company's solvency and growth in turnover. Kulta-Center Jokela received the best possible rating from Suomen Asiakastieto. 

In 2019, Kulta-Center's entrepreneurs Olli and Oskari Huttunen were elected Young Entrepreneurs of the Year by Savonlinna Entrepreneurs.

Customer first

The most important value of our company has always been the same, since 1933. Customer focus primarily means that we listen with a sensitive ear to our customers' wishes and development proposals. Critical feedback is important to us because we can and must learn from mistakes. At the same time, we make use of our own solid expertise - even if the customer is not quite sure what they are looking for in our products and services. The employees of the Gold Center do not elevate themselves above the customers.

For good reasons, watch and jewelry stores rely on long traditions. That is what many of our customers expect. However, the Gold Center is a company that is almost 90 years old, so it is not possible to reach such a respectable age by longing for the past alone. Renewal is vital to us. In addition to traditional products, we sell, for example, trendy smart watches, the buyers of which are mostly from the youngest end of our customer base. Who knows what the next trend will be? In any case, we are sniffing out trends like a fly. We also boldly adopt new ideas that are suggested to us from both our employees and our customers.

The Gold Center has no need to sell cheap and low quality stuff. You can get quality watches, jewelry, rings and pendants even at an affordable price. We make sure that every product we sell is made of quality material, whether the price is a little more expensive or much cheaper. Watches and jewelry are intended for parties and everyday life, so the price can be determined according to the purpose.
