The Longines Spirit Flyback collection is now complemented by two new versions in steel and 18 carat gold. The authentic pilot's watch with a brown dial offers supreme precision thanks to the unique Longines caliber, resistant to magnetic fields and chronometer certified by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres).
Longines produced the first model with a flyback function in 1925, after which it applied for a patent, which was registered on June 16, 1936: the world's first. A revolutionary tool for conquering the skies, the flyback complication allowed the different phases of flight to be timed sequentially, making navigation easier. In this new chronograph, the crown and pushers are 18 carat gold and the bezel of the watch has a cold cap gold finish in addition to the ceramic insert.
