The Longines Spirit Flyback collection is now complemented by two new versions in steel and 18 carat gold. The authentic pilot's watch with a green dial offers the highest precision of a unique Longines caliber that withstands magnetic fields and is COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) chronometer certified.
Longines produced a new model with a flyback function in 1925, after which it applied for a patent, which was registered on June 16, 1936: the first in the world. A revolutionary tool for conquering the skies, the flyback complication allowed the different phases of flight to be timed sequentially, making navigation easier. In this new chronograph, the crown and pushers are 18 carat gold and the bezel of the watch has a cold cap gold finish in addition to the ceramic insert.
