The Casio CRW-001-1ER ring watch is a unique blend of playfulness and practicality—a whole new style of digital timekeeping miniaturized to ring size, thanks to Casio’s advanced metalworking technology.

Crafting a full-metal ring watch with such a complex shape is an impressive technical achievement. The watch is produced using Metal Injection Molding (MIM), where a mix of fine metal powders and resin is injected into a mold. This process creates the case, case back, and ring as a single piece, faithfully reproducing the signature dimpled design of the band. A special glass adhesive technique ensures a watertight construction while still allowing for battery replacement.

The ring has an inner diameter of 20 mm and a circumference of 62.8 mm, corresponding to a ring size 22 (US 10.5, EU U). It comes with two sizing spacers, allowing adjustment to sizes 19 (19 mm inner diameter) or 16 (18 mm inner diameter).

Casio has downsized the standard watch module to one-tenth its usual size and paired it with a small button cell battery to create a three-button digital watch that fits on your finger. Despite its tiny dimensions, the watch features a clear 7-segment LCD display that shows the time down to the second, along with the date, dual time, and a stopwatch function.

You can preset a time of your choice, and the ring watch emits a subtle flashing light—a practical way to keep track of time and a poetic nod to the fleeting sparkle of passing moments.

The watch measures 25.2 × 19.5 × 6.2 mm and weighs just 16 g. It is made from stainless steel and is water-resistant against splashes.
