The GBA-950-1AER offers versatile features for movement and training, such as precise pace tracking without the need for a smartphone, automatic lap timing, and a workout log that can be easily managed and viewed via Bluetooth® connection using the CASIO WATCHES app. The watch sits comfortably on the wrist thanks to its band, developed in collaboration with OUTSENSE Inc, which features an origami-inspired wave-shaped underside and flexible bio-resin for lightness, durability, and environmental friendliness. The seamless integration between the case and band enhances durability and creates a stylish appearance.

Smart features include Bluetooth® connectivity with automatic time adjustment, phone notifications, world time for approximately 300 cities, a step counter, and a phone finder. Activity tracking records steps, distance, calories burned, and basal metabolic rate, while the dual-LED Super Illuminator provides bright, adjustable illumination. The watch offers up to two years of battery life with a CR2025 battery and is water-resistant up to 200 meters.

The case measures 48.5 × 43.9 × 16 mm and the watch weighs only 53 grams. It features mineral glass, a band length of 145–215 mm, and training functions that include world time and dual time, a stopwatch with distance and pace display, memory for up to 45 measurement results, five daily alarms with an hourly time signal, a full auto-calendar until the year 2099, silent mode, battery level warning, hand shift function, and airplane mode.
