The Casio Edifice Sospensione Honda Racing ECB-2300HR-1AER Limited Edition is a special anniversary model created in collaboration with Honda Racing. The watch celebrates the 60th anniversary of Honda’s first Formula 1 victory. In October 1965 the Honda RA272 achieved its historic win at the Mexican Grand Prix, and this edition brings the legacy of Honda engineering and racing spirit directly to the wrist.

The EDIFICE design team worked closely with Honda engineers and studied the iconic RA272 race car, its revolutionary V12 engine and distinctive design language. The result is a watch that pays tribute to the machine that changed the course of Formula 1 history.

The bezel is finished in authentic Championship White, matching the original color of the RA272. This is the first time the legendary shade has been used on the exterior of a watch. The gold-tone “60” at the 60-minute position celebrates six decades since the historic victory, while the red ring around the dial references the Hinomaru theme painted on the RA272 body.

Every detail reflects Honda’s racing heritage. The underside of the shorter part of the leather strap is engraved with the exact date and time of Honda’s first F1 victory. The strap loop carries the famous words of team manager Yoshio Nakamura: Veni, Vidi, Vici – “I came, I saw, I conquered”. The longer strap section displays technical specifications and original drawings of the RA272 engine. The case back is engraved with the official Honda 60th anniversary logo.

Beyond its historical inspiration, the watch is built with modern materials and advanced technology. The case combines carbon fiber reinforced resin with stainless steel for durability and lightness. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and 100-meter water resistance ensure reliable everyday wear. Tough Solar charging powers the watch using light, while Bluetooth® connectivity to a smartphone enables automatic time adjustment, easy world time settings and additional smart functions.
